From 3D scan to 3D print
Your real object as a precise, tangible model. Digitized. Optimized. Produced.
Whether spare parts without drawings, individual components or design samples – we bring real objects back into the digital world and then back into the physical world: precisely measured, processed and produced.
With state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology, intelligent data processing and professional production, we offer you the complete workflow “from part to part ” – without detours, without data loss, without frustration.
How the process works
1. 3D scan of your component
Non-contact, precise, high-resolution – by structured light or laser scanner, tailored to material, size and geometry.
2. data cleansing & optimization
Removal of interfering data, smoothing, closing holes, alignment, scaling – ready for the next step.
3. optional: feedback in CAD
For function-critical, technically reusable models, we reconstruct the scan data into parametric geometries (see “Constructive reverse engineering”).
4. prepare print data
Mesh check (e.g. for watertightness, overhangs, wall thickness), export in STL or native format.
5. 3D printing / manufacturing
Selection of the appropriate process (e.g. SLA, MJF, FDM) and material – also including post-processing, painting or dimensional report.
Typical use cases
- Spare parts production for systems, vintage cars, laboratory equipment
- Design models, illustrative parts, housing prototypes
- Components without CAD data (reverse engineering)
- Small series for tests, approvals or installation
- Replicas, reconstructions, digital archiving
Your advantages
- Everything from a single source - no data transfers, no friction losses
- Time savings through consistent project responsibility
- Technical expertise along the entire process chain
- Also ideal for complex free-form surfaces or sensitive geometries
Do you have a part - but no data? Or you have data but no way to print it?
We close the gap – precisely, comprehensibly and individually tailored to your requirements.
